Did you know we have a password self-service website that you can use to reset your Utah Tech password or look up your Digital ID?

Go to https://changepassword.utahtech.edu 

If You've Forgotten Your Password or Haven't Received It

Click on "Reset with Email" near the top right of your screen.

Then enter your Digital ID to have instructions to change your password sent to your personal email address set in MyUT. Be sure to check your junk or spam folders for this email. If you do not have a personal email address set up in MyUT or you no longer have access to the personal email address you set, you will have to call the IT Helpdesk at 435-879-4357 or come in person to the IT Helpdesk on the 2nd Floor of Holland Centennial Commons to reset your password.

Change Your Password If You Know Your Current Password (or Have a Temporary Password)

If you know your Digital ID and your current password (or a temporary password), you can log in here with your current password and change it.

Be sure to choose a new password that meets our password policy requirements:

If You Don't Know Your Digital ID Number

Click on "Digital ID Look-Up" end enter your birth date (MMDDYYYY) and Social Security Number to look up your Digital ID number.

Password Sync Can Take Up to 2 Minutes

Please note that after you change your password through https://changepassword.utahtech.edu, allow at least two minutes before attempting to log in on any UT website because the sync with Microsoft Azure can take up to two minutes.
