Students who drop courses now show as "inactive" in Canvas under People and Grades.

In the Grades, you can toggle the view of "inactive" students on or off by filtering the Grade Book view.

1. Click the three dots on the right side of the Student Name column.
2. Click Inactive enrollments or Concluded enrollments to filter the display on or off in the grade book.

When Inactive enrollments or Concluded enrollments are checked, those enrollments will be displayed in the grade book and when they are unchecked, they will not display in the grade book. This filter can be applied or removed any time during the semester.

Note:
Inactive students will still show in People, but they will not receive course notifications.
