How to tell if you are still using the Old Dixie Google Workspace vs. the New Utah Tech Google Workspace?

 

Sign in to the Google Account, where you access your Google Files like Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.

Click on your account on the top right.

 

 

Utah Tech Workspace

 

If you see your [email protected] and the text "Managed by utahtech.edu"

You are signed into the correct account.

 

 

Dixie Workspace

 

If you see your [email protected] and the text "Managed by dmail.dixie.edu"

 

 

Or if you see [email protected] and the text "Managed by dixie.edu"

 

 

Then you are signed into the wrong account and will want to ensure that all files used in the Dixie account are moved to the New Utah Tech Google Workspace.

 

Current students and employees can transfer their Dixie Google files to Utah Tech Google Services: Transfer Google content to Utah Tech.

 

Current students and employees can transfer Google files to OneDrive: Google Drive to OneDrive.

 

Current students and employees can transfer Dixie Shared Drives to Utah Tech Shared Drives: Migrate Shared Drives.

 

Former students and employees should download their data: Download your Google data with Google Takeout.
